Bio: Atkinson's breakthrough role was as Lisa Hunter on the teenage soap opera Hollyoaks. She and actor Marcus Patric (who played the character Ben Davies) subsequently appeared in a "spin-off" series called Hollyoaks: Let Loose, in which their characters started a new life together in Chester. This was followed by Hollyoaks: In the City also screened on the E4 network. In October 2007, Atkinson played herself in an episode of the Channel 4 pilot series Comedy Showcase: Plus one. In January 2008, Gemma appeared on Celebrity Mastermind, with Marcus Patric. Atkinson will be appearing in the independent film Boogie Woogie alongside Heather Graham in May 2009. She is currently working on a horror film, 13 hours, in the UK and splitting her time in LA for 6 weeks to audition for various film work. She is already known in the States for her portrayal of Lt. Eva McKenna in EA's Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 Video game.
