Bio: "Now I know how Charlie (Sheen) feels, I've lost all feeling in my lower half." (his reaction to winning the Golden Globe Award!)" shares Sutherland. Stand By Me was Sutherland's first American made film and as of 2008 he has appeared in over seventy films. The most notable include: The Lost Boys, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, A Few Good Men, Flatliners, Young Guns, The Vanishing, The Three Musketeers, Stand by Me, Dark City, To End All Wars and A Time To Kill, The Sentinel and MIRЯORS (2008). He has also starred in the role of Jack Bauer in the critically acclaimed television series 24. He has numerous nominations for Golden Gloe, Emmy and Sag Awards for his starring role. In 2002 he won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Lead Actor in a Drama Series. In 2004 and 2006 he won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. In 2006 he won two Emmy Awards. The first for Outstandinding Drama Series and the second for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
