Bio: The blooming blonde Panettiere is the very definition of “perky,” so it’s no surprise that she was a shoo-in to play the peppy cheerleader Claire on the hit TV series Heroes. Panettiere began her career doing commercials and then landed a role as Sarah Roberts on One Life to Live from 1994-1997 then as Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light 1996-2000. She is currently playing the role as Claire Bennet on the television program Heroes. About her role on Heroes, she admits, "people look at [her] as either the 'popular cheerleader' type or just 'the blonde'." Panettiere has also appeared on the big screen with roles in films such as A Bug's Life, Remember the Titans, and Raising Helen. Movies that she has especially sexy scenes in are The Good Student, Fireflies in the Garden and The Architect. Her most current role is in the film I Love You Beth Cooper, to be released mid 2009.
